Before you start, you can check with the Regional Support Team to see if they have any inventory available that you won’t have to purchase. Typical items that might be available include:

  • Avery 8162 Hanging Folder Labels

  • Canary Stock for Table Names

  • Sheet Protectors

  • Hanging Files Folders

  • Laminate

  • Sand

You will also want to ensure you have the following tools/supplies available for when you start assembling:

  • Scissors

  • About 10 large paperclips

  • Large trash bag (to place tissue boxes that go in men’s bin)

  • Sand (enough to fill a small glass jar)

  • Printer and about 25 sheets of copy paper

*If you do not have the tools listed immediately above available, you may need to add the smaller items to your shopping list

Step 1: Print Forms

*Please note that while all the other supplies can be purchased after forms are printed, the Avery labels will need to have been purchased in order to print the first form.

Print off one copy of each item at home (all on white paper is fine, with the exclusion of labels which need printed on label paper). Then, using the table below, place a sticky note on each document stating (1) number of copies, (2) color of paper (light shade), and (3) if it needs to be double-sided. You can then go to an Office Max or Kinko’s to print these items in bulk.

Step 2: Purchase Holy Items from Trinity House

The number at Trinity House is 913-706-8513.  Robert S. Shea (Bob) is the owner and the person who should handle the order. To order items email Bob at least 60 days in advance of the weekends.

The items can either be picked up at the Trinity House or you can have them delivered to your location.

Step 3: Purchase Shopping Items

For list of stores and items please see excel document 21-Supplies by Store that was printed in Step 1.

Step 4: Assemble Boxes

Use the document, 20-Supplies by Bin that was printed in Step 1, to assemble the facilitator, men, and women’s bins.

* All leftover supplies can be given to the Regional Support Team for future use

Step 5: Submit Expense Report
