Formation of Mission Team
A team of 8-10 people, each team, first men usually, then women, is sufficient to help a parish start Christ Renews. Suggest number of participants be limited to 19 for this initial experience.
Some parishes use larger teams to help another parish start Christ Renews. That works. However, larger teams make for more complicated endeavors and more expensive processes. It is not necessary for the helping team to again go through team formation totally. In some cases, such requirements act as a discouragement for people to join a traveling team.
Core team should include:
Spiritual director
Lay director
Witnessers/table leaders (Can be combined or separate)
Facilitator
One extra table leader, a floater who replaced the table leader who gave a witness, and might serve as sacristan liturgist
