Christ Renews His Parish is a copyrighted parish renewal process that has existed since 1969 and has been recommended by the renewal office of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops. It has been used as the primary instrument of personal & parish renewal in over 1200 parishes in 35 states in the United States and in five other countries.
We believe that if the Lord wants to use Christ Renews His Parish in a parish, he’ll tell someone there who can take proper action. This process is structured so that it becomes part of normal parish life without becoming another parish organization. Christ Renews His Parish supports other parish organizations and ministries and sends renewed people into these groups.
While many people who experience the process experience it at different levels of intensity, most would say it is an authentic encounter with God. People describe experiencing God more intimately. More personal. From those with little faith, to those who have been ordained for many years, all leave with a sense of renewal and greater connection with the Holy Spirit.
John 10:37-38 “If I do not perform my Father’s works, do not believe me; but if I perform them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may realize (and understand) that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.”
