Christ Renews is an instrument of personal and parish renewal of faith.
Christ Renews has 4 parts:
1. Experience a renewal week end
2. Be a part of a team; go through formation
3. Minister a renewal week end
4. Search for the Lord’s call to what is next.\
Interested? Come to an informational meeting DATE in LOCATION for more

Christ Renews His Parish is a renewal process developed in 1969 and has been
experienced by hundreds of parishes across the country. Ascension Parish
PARISH has held these overnight retreats since the XX.

SAMPLE FROM PHIL HERNANDEZ- First Pulpit Talk
Each time we celebrate the Gift of the Eucharist/ I am so overwhelmed by the Love Jesus showed for me by giving me His Body & Blood. My heart was “burning within me” as I watched the WAY He gave me His Body & Blood in the movie, The Passion of Christ. Nothing breaks through our daily routine like the desire to draw nearer to Jesus.
Rev 21:4-5 “... He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, wailing or pain, (for) the old order has passed away.” The one who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” Then he said, Write these words down, for they are trustworthy and true.”
My name is Phil Hernandez. I have come to invite all the men of Ascension to attend the “Christ Renews His Parish,” overnight weekend, here at Ascension. It will be on March 27th & 28th. Since 1969, it has renewed thousands of people in over 800 parishes in the US. “Come join us and be made new.”
